My experience with English

Image
Hi everyone! Like the title says, today's blog it is about the English as a language and its challenges. Learning a new language it's definitely a challenge for it self to anyone and it's easier while younger you are, for example, I started with english at the age of five and it made me a little easier the subject at the school. About the learning of english at university, it has been a little more dynamic than I thought, first I thought it was gonna be just classes of grammatical, vocabulary and that kind of stuff, but the use of the blog make the subject a little more fun because it helps to improve the vocabulary and the redaction, besides not a lot of people (if it is none) writes in another language if they are not forced to. The videos, although I don't enjoy making them, they help with the pronunciation, and in this is the aspect I think I need to improve above others, and it only can be practicing, besides the vocabulary which also can be improved ju...

"Study programme"

Image
Hello! Today's blog it's about the changes that we would made to the study programme, between some other things like, curriculum, workload and faculty facilities so it can be considered better for the education. In my career there are a few subjects that can be considered like not so useful to the career itself computation, which is almost unnecessary because you don't learn anything important or useful to the career. Other thing it's the facilities of labs, there are old and not always are available materials, like flasks, pipettes, or the reactive that will be use in the activity of the lab. Places like a green areas, or room in the library (more tables and chairs) are very important when it's time to study. When it's about the workload, I think it's a little heavy above everything when you have to adapt to the new system of the university, so in the first semester (or year) the workload should be less "aggressive". In the length ...

Holidays

Image
Hi! Today's blog it's about summer holidays and what do I have planned for it.  Chiloe National Park In fact I haven't thought it, still left a few months and I am focus on university and I probably I will have to work this summer :(, but I would like to stay a few weeks in Santiago and go to the different hills or parks (just until new year I hope) and visit some places in Chile that I have never visited before, somewhere like Torres del Paine national park, Chiloé, Valdivia or Puerto Montt, specifically in the south because I don't like the north (too dry, without trees and it is bored), besides in places like the south of Chile it's not so hot. Basically I just wanna go to some place with lots of vegetation more than a beach (the sun is too dangerous to the skin and I always burn in it). I'd like go with some friends or with my family, I don't mind, I'll pass a good time either way, what I really want it's stay out of Santiago for a...

Drugs and addiction

Image
Hey!   Today's blog is about everything related to drugs and their abuse, the which can have very bad consequences to the body or very good, everything depends on the dose and the recurrence of use.    For example, the coffee, when is consumed regularly in small doses it can bring benefices to the organism, like increase in the concentration, efficiency in sports, and stimulate the central nervous system. But when the caffeine is consumed irregularly or in excessive quantities it can affect the emotions of a person like make him angry for no reason, it can produce a disorder in the sleep time and a drop in efficiency in general.   Basically a person can be addicted to almost everything, like medicines, maybe one of the worst, because of all the damage and dependence that produces in the body, for example liver damage. Like sugar too (although it's better than artificial sweetness), because it comes with a lot of sicknesses from the hand, like diabetes, re...

Post graduate course

Image
Hi everyone! Like the title says this blog it's about a post graduate course that I'd like, and in fact I haven't think about this because it is too soon and I just started university this year and I am evaluating if this is the career that I want (until now I'll keep in the career). But an area that I'd like to study after the professional degree, is the one of food and nutrition, specifically in functional food and make some research. Because I think it is an area where you can make a deeper change in the health of people, because from the feeding is where it starts. I'd like to do it abroad for all the opportunities that it provides to the work field and in a personal way too like knowing different cultures, and things that you don't see here, and science is not so well supported in Chile. I'd like to do it part-time 'cause I wouldn't like to be just studying (I would like to be working too) for more than ten years. I am not ve...

Job

Hi! Well, today's blog it's about what kind of job I would like to have and their characteristics like salary, environment, between other things. Without a doubt job has to be comfortable and it has to like the person who does it, even so it is a little difficult, because most don’t. Once that I get out of university I would like to work (obviously) with something related to my career, I mean it wouldn’t nice study almost six years one thing to end working in something unrelated, which is food engineering, most specifically in the area of development because it is an area where there aren’t a lot of people working. And I think it is the most striking (more than control and process direction). It is a job that has to be done indoor (although I like outdoors more L ). Other area that I’d like to work is investigation or making my own company, all of this because there are different from a typical office work. And about the travels in job I don’t think are really good bec...

Hobbies

Image
Hey!         Today's blog is from hobbies and I am going to tell you about my own hobbies.  When I was like seven or eight years old I liked to play table games with my family, because it was time to spend together.       After that I don't remember having a lot of hobbies beside playing different things or listen to music (which one I still do) until three years ago when I started to run, I did it for like two years until I got hurt and couldn't do it for one year, but now I am getting back to it, I like running because is an activity that can be realized by one self or in groups, besides it relaxes me, it's a way to relax the mind.       I also like to watch movies or series above everything in winter, when the weather helps a lot haha, which one can also be realized by various people or by one self, but a hobby that I would never have is anything with collection because I don't like that kind of stuff, I thing it tak...
